Leah Meisterlin is an architecture and urbanism researcher, geographic information systems specialist, and cartographer. In addition to her work with PRE-Office, she has studied questions surrounding American housing as an associate research scholar at Columbia's Temple Hoyne Buell Center for the Study of American Architecture and is currently a sociospatial researcher at NYU's Center for Latino Adolescent and Family Health. Her work is primarily focused on concurrent issues of spatial justice, informational ethics, and the effects of infrastructural networks on the construction of social and political space.
She holds an M.Arch. and M.S. in Urban Planning from Columbia's Graduate School of Architecture, Planning, and Preservation and a B.A. in Art: Architecture and Urbanism from Smith College. Leah occassionally teaches.
